Happy Halloween

Halloween always makes me think of one thing...Chili.
Probably because we used to eat it every Halloween before heading out to get our candy on.

Perfect eat for fall weather. Warm and yummy in your tummy.
A new take on my Mom's chili, here's what you need:

1 1/2 lb. Lean ground turkey meat
1 tbs. olive oil
1/2 onion
2 jalapenos (I remove the seeds)
1 tbs. minced garlic
1 can black beans (low sodium)
1 can garbanzo beans (low sodium)
(2) 15 ounce cans tomato sauce
(1) 15 ounce can diced tomatoes
spices: garlic salt, cumin, chili powder, black pepper, dash of kosher salt

Heat olive oil and saute onions, garlic and jalapenos
Add turkey meat and brown, sprinkle with garlic salt
Add spices to taste
Add beans, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes
Simmer for 30 minutes

Jogger Blogger

Are you a jogger? If yes, keep reading.

Like me you probably began thinking about what type of stroller you were going to get pretty much the minute you got pregnant. I was all about the stroller. I definitely wanted something that would make it easy for me to get back into my running stride post baby. I decided on the BOB revolution and I'm so glad I did.

The BOB is awesome for walks and jogs with baby. It's easy to maneuver while jogging and provides a  smooth ride, even with the Snugride 35 adapter and car seat attached. Baby and I spent countless mornings and afternoons out and about strolling the streets of Santa Monica.
